Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management

(Registered under Chapter 493, Registration Number: 252212) 

The BTEC Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management (HND in Hospitality Management) is designed to prepare students to specialise in a range of administrative and management positions within hospitality related fields.  This is emphasising the use of knowledge and practical skills in areas such as hospitality operations, banqueting and conference management, food and beverage operations, customer servicing, facilities operations, and human resources management, etc.  It provides specialist routes of studies that relate to individual professions within the hospitality world.  It is a two year full-time programme that is equivalent to year two of a UK honours degree.  There are totally 16 core modules to be completed.

The qualification of HND in Hospitality Management is offered by Edexcel of Pearson Group, which is one of the main examination boards in the UK and it is being internationally recognised as well.  For the education pathways, it provides a route for students who are seeking to gain entry to UK higher education programmes.  The HND in Hospitality Management is also recognised by over 130 countries, along with professional associations globally.
